Microsoft 365 Business Central Wave 1 2023

Wave 1 2023 Functionality – edited highlights

As ever, Microsoft has released a mix of user and developer improvements in its latest Wave 1 update, which starts to roll out to users from April. Minor updates will continue throughout the year and Wave 2 will start to roll out from October.

User benefits and what stands out.

Take a look at this short video. In this video a member of the Qi support and implementation team walks you through some of the most user beneficial features in the latest Business Central release.

Managing your Wave 1 update

Your business partner can manage when new major functionality is released into your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation so that your day to day processing is not affected. This level of management also provides the opportunity for any Business Central developments you may be using (extensions) to be tested by your business partner in a sandbox environment prior to being released for use.

Not happy with your current Business Partner?

If your current business partner does not offer useful communications such as this, or does not manage your Wave releases, or takes too long to respond to your support calls, then perhaps it’s time for a change?

Thought for the Day

If you know your Microsoft licensing renewal date or know what Microsoft pricing model you are on: monthly or annual, then we can work together to identify the best way and the best time to take over as your Microsoft Business Partner.
