Want affordable, excellent Business Central but have concerns about your bespoke support?

If you are using bespoke functionality created using Microsoft dimensions and you paid a business partner for that development, then they should provide your new business partner with the source code. A dive into your Business Central instance will confirm that the Qi Development Support team can take over support seamlessly.

Need to move Business Central Support Partner mid contract?

Some Business Central users will not wish to wait until their licence renewal date to switch Business Central partners.

Support desk services with Qi can be contracted at any point during your existing contract and we will then take over licensing your Business Central at renewal.  You need to check your current Microsoft SKU

You will need to check with your current Business Central support partner regarding your contractual obligation and notice period should you seek a refund on monies paid in advance for support or seek to cancel prior to renewal or the renewal ‘window’

Commonly licenced SKU’s

Monthly payment with monthly commitment – you can cancel licences with a 30-day notice period.  You will pay at least a 20% premium for this SKU

Annual Commitment – you commit to licences for a 12-month period.  These cannot be changed or reduced but can be reassigned.  This is the most cost-effective licencing SKU

What Contractual Commitment does Qi ask from their supported customers?

As you would expect, Qi charges for Support on an annual basis paid annually in advance. (Payment plans can be discussed if required)

We ask for at least 3 months’ notice should you not wish to renew your support contract

We expect to take over as your CSP and thus you place your licences via Qi Ltd (and we only ever charge the Microsoft published prices!)

HOWEVER

Qi is about people working with people

If we fall short and do not meet your expectations and you wish to cancel your support agreement with us mid-term, we will refund you for support costs on a pro-rata basis.

Make sure your Business Central licence Portfolio suits your needs and your budget!

Qi bases support costs on user numbers and user types.  Therefore if you have a user allocated a full licence when in fact, they only need a Team licence, not only are you paying too much for your licencing but too much for your support – even with Qi who offer cost effective support contracts. (And no business should over pay for licences or support!)

Best for users who need full access to Business Central’s core functionality.

Essentials

Includes:

Premium (Includes all Essentials plus:)

  • Service Management
  • Advanced Manufacturing:

🔹 2. Team Member Licence

Cost-effective, limited-use licence for light users.

Ideal for team members who need visibility across Business Central with minimal update rights.

User Capabilities:

  • ✅ Full read access across Essentials and Premium
  • ✅ Update existing records (e.g., customer, vendor, item records)
  • ✅ Approve/reject workflow tasks
  • ✅ Create/edit/delete:
