The latest version of Cim50 Manufacturing V25 was released in the last quarter of 2025. It is the biggest annual release yet.

Shop Floor Data Capture with Cim50!
- Scan stock movement into, around and out of the building!
- Capture those all important working times and understand real time, if a job is going to plan!
Monitor your Carbon Footprint with Cim50 and meet changing supply chain demands!
- Cim50 includes a unique set of features enabling businesses to work out the Carbon Footprint for their built products.
- The Carbon Footprint Calculator calculates carbon emissions generated from manufacturing processes through two different modes.
- Cim50 will provide a ‘Carbon Cost’ defined in KgCO2e (Kilograms of CO2 equivalent) which is calculated when a works order is completed.
- Businesses can then use the dashboard views in Cim50 to report on carbon emissions produced during certain periods or on a month by month basis.

Version 25 of Cim50 is only compatible with Sage50 accounts V32. Please ensure you are upgrading your Sage50 accounts software at the same time when installing this new update.
So what does Cim50 manufacturing upgrade include?

| Stock adjustment | Cim Software has added a new Sage50 style stock adjustment screen, allowing multiple transactions to be processed at once, including both traceable and non-traceable. | With this latest Cim50 version, you will be able to adjust in, adjust out, transfer stock, quarantine stock, and issue stock to a project or return stock from a project. |
| Picking list | Sales order picking list functionality has now been added to Cim50’s Despatch Feature in stock control. | Users can now distribute and pick sales orders from Cim50, including the ability to give traceable batches or serial numbers. This functionality has been incorporated into both the core Cim50 solution and Shop Floor Data capture module. |
| Trial kitting expansion | Cim50 has now also included the ability to trial kit one or more sales order | Saves time by selecting the multiple orders you are interested in and the built items from those orders will be trial kitted based on the outstanding order quantity. |
| Firm Link PO lines | In Cim50 V25 you can now also manually link purchase order lines to work orders components | Users will now have the right stock in at the right time and have a transparent view of works order costs and inventory. |
| Scheduler Ad-Hoc Bookings | Ad-Hoc bookings are now added to the Cim50 graphical scheduler, enabling you to schedule around machine servicing, maintenance or people’s holidays. | Not all equipment and staff to run it are available all of the time. There are holidays, absences and machine maintenance down-time which can now be worked into your schedule to give an accurate view for planned output. You can now create Ad-Hoc bookings for a machine or labour resource; this will be included in the scheduler and considered when highlighting resource availability or clashes. |
More Super user/ admin related updates but never underestimate the importance of good housekeeping in Cim50!
Backups:
The backup functionality has now been enhanced,
this will enable you to specify an alternative location where backups are stored, along with the choice to automatically delete Cim50 backups after a defined numbers of days.
Data validation:
Errors will now be more obvious to spot!
Data validation errors/ warnings will now highlighted to users via a red or orange warning bar which will be found at the top of the screen when you first login to Cim50, as now “Cimi” the agent tie colour has been removed.
