The process includes confirmation that any upgrade is compatible with the rest of your IT infrastructure and that areas of concern are defined, and appropriate recommendations made.
Upgrades are usually implemented for two key reasons. The first is to access new features that return an immediate benefit and is a choice proactively made. The second is often a decision customers feel ‘forced’ to make, influenced by changes in the technological or legislative landscape. Qi will work with you to explore the varying levels of benefits that any upgrade could offer whilst taking into account your wider business plan. Any upgrade should be delivered with the minimum of intrusion to usual business. Part of the Qi Projects process is to define and agree a suitable time frame which will include the necessary preparation, data testing, installation, training and Go Live support. We work in the ‘real world’ and understand that business as usual must be carefully factored in to your upgrade project. Most projects can be delivered using only remote services in these uncertain times.
